It has been used in Japan for a long time and is characterized by a soft contrast of pale pink and white. The unique, tranquil, and elegant color tone of this species is one of a kind. Over time, it changes to a deeper hue. This product is delivered unfinished, so we recommend oil finishing after installation. The photos shown are after oil finishing, which can serve as a reference for the finished appearance. Please note that sales are in square meters. It has been carefully dried to a moisture content of 8% using a unique drying method (steam film method), making it compatible with underfloor heating systems. No spacers are needed during installation. With all processes from sourcing domestic hardwood logs to product processing done in-house, and without the use of preservatives or chemicals, it can be used as a safe and secure product.
